Artist Statement:

    The first project using Photoshop was the creation of a Tag brush, something can be not just used for an assignment in a class, but in the real world for any artist. A Tag brush is usually a signature to represent someones artistic projects as their own material. By doing this we simply took from our original B/W logo, represented in my logo project blog post, and transferred it over to Photoshop. From there I downloaded splash images and mark images to place over the logo, picking the ones that fit the shape of my logo the best. After this we simply created our brush with the combination of the images within our outline of the logo (using the pen tool). From there we saved our brush, opening it onto a new file and creating the array of colorways to express our final  Tag brush in many different ways.

    As said before, creating this isn't only for a project but for our futures, wherever we see ourselves in a couple of years, no matter what we would be able to identify our artistic creations by finding our Tag brush located at the bottom of each and every single one of our creations. This may not only help the idea that someone may try to steal your creations but also to show that at some point you were an artist in your own special way.
