"All At Once" Triptych Film
"All At Once" Artist Statement: For this assignment, I created a short two-minute experimental film titled “All At Once” using Adobe Premiere. The project focused on a triptych layout , where three moving images play at the same time side by side. We were encouraged to explore rhythm, texture, and juxtaposition using archival or found footage, and this format gave me the chance to reflect on something bigger than just the visuals. At first, I approached the film as an experimental editing challenge—layering videos, adjusting textures, and playing with opacity and movement. I used a combination of public domain footage, abstract overlays, and historical clips. The left and right frames often mirror or repeat footage, while the center blends everything together with overlays and distortion.
