Although it may not seem like a complicated animation, it did take a couple of hours to master how it works and how to produce it, even at the lowest stage, to create...

Animating in Photoshop Tutorials  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IO1yDUJl8qw Watching this quick tutorial for a simple idea or starting animating in Photoshop as a beginner. The video wasn't too hard to follow at all. Unlike any other tools we use to create art designs in Illustrator or Photoshop, looking out in a simple frame-by-frame animation for a beginner such as myself, I don't see any tools that may be hard to use in this video. I've found this more manageable than the introduction to Illustrator and Photoshop. I found it interesting that a short video like this goes straight to the point and doesn't cut any edges out of showing how to make a simple animation like this. Learning how to create...

P re-Somewhere Project Inspiration 1. One image I think would be really hard to photoshop myself in: When looking at all the brilliant artistic photographs on Kerby Jenner's Instagram, I found this picture to be the hardest for me to imagine myself in. Not only is there minimal room to imagine myself, but the tall grass, clothing style, and dark shade of the picture itself make it very hard to do. 2.  One image that inspired me and gave me an idea for the "somewhere" project: While reviewing the second Instagram account, looking for a post that would inspire what I would do for the actual project, I came up with this post. From this post, I got the idea to use The Wolf Of Wall Street  movie for a scene where I will photoshop myself into it. Why did this post inspire this? Well, this post reminds me very much of Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonha Hills, the characters in the film. 3. One image that made me laugh  ...

BW to Color

Image
Original photo:                                Three B/W-to-color Images: Artist Statement:                I’ve been working on my first project using Adobe Photoshop for the past two nights. At the same time, capturing photos of myself that reflect my connection to the world and how it is expressed in my way. Using this photo, I turned it Black and White using the feature on Adobe Photoshop. Once this was complete, I picked three color scales using the Adobe colors page. I went to work to make all three using Square, Complementary, and Triad color scales. The process for all three color scales was the same.            First, I use the quick selection tool to cover a particular area of the picture, for example, my shirt. Once the selection was made, I created a new layer with a layer mask, wher...

Ps HW 2: Abstract: The Art of Design Abstract: The Art of Design does well at exploring the themes of art, the idea that art can come from a simple image if you know how to connect with the image in your unique way. The documentary explores this and tells viewers there is so much more in pictures than a shot taken in a specific area or time. The idea that portraits themselves have the power to tell us more than simple facts was enough to hook me from the start of watching this documentary, showing these geniuses' ideas stemming from sightseeing tall architecture and its designs. But once he could see past the black-and-white designs of buildings, people, landscapes, etc, he found this visual language in these pictures. Something I can start doing in the near future. From this,  I have learned to look at art differently than ever, not just art but pictures that speak to the exposure of other ideas in this vast world.  During the short documentary, we see a lot of...
