Business Cards

Business Cards                             Beginning sketches: Artist Statement:      Today, I have wrapped up my InDesign assignments and projects, and another big project was assigned to my class. The objective was to create three simple business cards using our three different color logos, created using Adobe Photoshop in one of our past assignments. Before we began working on anything, the most crucial part was ensuring all the dimensions and settings were set up correctly so we could work on it independently. So, we prepared to work on it in class on our computers. Once that was done, I used the rectangle, line, and pen tools to create zig zags, shapes, and cool designs for the postcard's background. First, we were told to find a JPEG image or create an image in Adobe Photoshop for the po...

Id HW #1

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eqhUFRlvgI After watching my first indesign beginner video to help me understand indesign as a whole, I saw many of the same tools in all three programs, just like the other two Adobe programs we use just like the other two Adobe programs we use. However, in this one, which is entirely different is the number of tools; in the video on the left-hand side, the tools range from fewer than the other two, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. As for the video, I found it interesting how the instructor/creator included the keyboard on the bottom right so he could show the beginners, just like me, what key shortcuts I can use to get around faster in InDesign. But what makes it different is that we can see what keys he's pressing, so if you need to remember what he says or get left behind, you can see which keys he presses on the bottom left. Now, we will talk about the tools and functions that seem easy or hard to use from the start of learning this new p...
